The new Google Pixel 4a might come much earlier than you thought; in April. According to a video uploaded on YouTube by a Spanish-language channel named TechnoLike Plus, it is quite likely the Google’s budget might be coming as early as in April. Before this, we had seen some leaked images of the phone that weren’t clear enough to have a close look at. Now, thanks to the video posted on YouTube, we can observe a far better look at the upcoming handset.
Google Pixel 4a Expected Specs and Design
By looking into the video, the Google Pixel 4a possesses a new design with a smudge-laden matte black back casing which is of plastic. It is also seen that there is a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the smartphone. We also get a glance of Android 10 running on the device and an upper-left notch looking fairly visible.
The smartphone also seems to have a 3.5mm headphone jack with a hole-punch 8MP selfie camera. A square camera module is placed at the rear of the phone which consists of a 12MP camera. According to the video, Google Pixel 4a is able to record 4k videos, though it’s is unknown how much will the framerate be.
By looking at the video, the phone has a 5.8-inch display FHD+ with 1080 by 2,340-pixel resolution at 443 PPI. The refresh rate of it appears to be 60 Hz instead of the 90 HZ which is less if the price of the phone is high. By looking into the AIDA64 software, the Google smartphone will pack a Snapdragon 730 chipset, which will have 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
We can see that the Pixel 4a will come with a 3,080mAh cell, which is considered fine because the lower resolution display helps reduce power draw. The video also suggests that the phone will have dual SIM support. But it’s not clear whether there will be dual SIM tray or eSIM.
