EVO 2020 Has been Cancelled Because of COVID-19

Unfortunately, Las Vegas has missed another tremendous event to be held at. Gamers are no more going to see the crowd enjoying the moments at Mandalay Bay this time. Because the famous Fighting Game Tournament by name EVO 2020 (Evolution Championship) has been canceled because of the corona outbreak.

We got this sad news from a tweet by Event Organizers. Where they announced the cancellation of EVO2020 and it’s shifting as an online event this summer. EVO 2020

EVO 2020 is a Fighting Game Championship with several games on the schedule list to play. Players from all around the world participate in the event and show their gaming skills. Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas every time gets the honor of hosting EVO’s Championship.

EVO 2020 was planned from July 31st to August 2nd. Included Games this time were, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V Champion Edition, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[cl-r], Soul Calibur VI, Samurai Showdown and Granblue Fantasy Versus.

While now after cancellation and shifting the tournament online. The new list of games is unconfirmed yet. I hope we will hear something soon from EVO’s Officials. Guys, EVO 2020, is not only the event canceled because of Pandemic. There are various other programs, canceled or shifted online.
