During the EA Play that occurred yesterday at 6:30 ET, we got quite an info regarding what to expect from EA Sports titles on the next-gen consoles. Out of all the games, EA Sports also showed off a short glimpse of both Madden 21 and Fifa 21 video games. These games will be launched on both the next-gen consoles that are PS5 and Xbox Series X. Apart from that, both of the games will be available on the current-gen platforms too. These platforms include PS4, PCs, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
EA is referring all of its game titles under the heading of “Next Level”. The Next Level website lists the new elements that gamers around the world expect. EA promises “blazing fast load times” as well as “more real-life animation tech” in both games. Fifa 21 and Madden 21 will be perfect to be played with the next-gen consoles as both of them are enabled with high-speed SSDs. A revamped and newly deferred lighting and rendering system create better-looking stadiums, pretty good player models. All of these features come from dynamic lighting and finer details.
Fifa 21 and Madden 21 Release Dates
One of the best highlights that Madden 21 has got is spatialized audio. Such audio brings stadium atmosphere to life. This feature is not just limited to the PS5 and its 3D audio tech. But what is limited for sure is Sony’s PS5 haptic feedback from the DualSense controller. With this haptic feedback, EA Sports say that it’ll let players “sense the impact of shots, passes, catches, kicks, tackles, and hits.”
EA will offer Dual Entitlement program for Fifa 21 just like with Madden 21. This means that players who buy PS4 or Xbox One will get a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. Fifa 21 will launch on Oct 9 on PS4, PCs, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Madden 21 will release on August 28 on PCs, PS4, and Xbox One. Apart from that, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of both games will come in the last quarter of 2020. Both the games will also launch on Google Stadia this winter.
