The Government of Pakistan has set forward certain strategies for this Eid-ul-Adha. Including cattle markets schedule, SOPs for the general public, and specific locations for the market. Departments will make sure the proper implementation of these rules.
The team under the supervision of the Federal Minister for Planning & National Command and Control Center (NCOC) Chief Mr. Asad Umar held a meeting. Where Chief Secretaries from all the provinces also joined the meeting via an online link.
Authorities decided on various precautionary measures to be followed by the general public. Because the last Eid-ul-Fitr resulted in the vast spreading of Coronavirus across the country. So maintaining the proper mechanism this time is a major need of time.
Keep in Mind: There is already a smart lockdown in more than 320 cities across the country. The celebration of this Eid-ul-Adha is not going to be the same as the previous ones we had celebrated. Let’s move towards the detail of that meeting being held by Ministers.
Cattle Markets Schedule & SOPs
The Cattle Markets will be operational from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. The general public can visit for purchasing animals.
There will be screening machines at the entrance of markets to check the public entering with proper SOPs.
All the people visiting markets will have to wear face masks and to maintain social distancing with each other.
There will be no cattle markets inside the main cities area. All the markets will be established outside the city zone.
No extra members including children and old age people will be allowed to visit the cattle markets this Eid-ul-Adha.
