Following are the SOPs for Schools in Punjab

From the last few days, a clear decline in Corona Cases has been reported. So now, the businesses, institutes, and other life activities are coming back to normal in Pakistan. Educational institutes are one among them going to reopen soon. The Government of Punjab in this regard has issued some strict SOPs for schools to follow.

It is mandatory that everyone will have to wear face masks in the school, like teachers, students, peons, and guards, etc.

Authorities will must make sure to check the temperature of every single person entering the boundaries of school.

Staaf/Students must avoid handshakes and hug with each other. Social Distancing is still a major need of time.

There would be no assemblies, indoor activities, sports weeks, and other activities in schools according to issued notice.

Play Group and Nursery Classes should be avoided until the pandemic fully ends. Because playgrounds, toys, and indoor activities can spread the virus.

Teachers will teach students from a safe distance as well as will make sure that students are following SOPs properly.

Inside the classrooms, students must have a distance of 6 feet in between the seats. There will be floor marking in areas to mention the spaces.

If there is only one entry/exit gate in schools, students will leave the school in a schedule of gap to avoid a crowdy environment.

Canteens, Toilets, Class Rooms, Libraries must be disinfected on a regular basis. Hand Sanitizers and spots for washing hands will be installed.

There must be only 50% of seats available for students in school vans & buses. The rest of the 50% seats must be empty as a safe distancing.

Well, for hostel based students, management will utilize only 30% of the total capacity. Rest of 70% would remain closed until the pandemic exists.

Finally, there would be a proper workshop for both teachers and students about how to stay safe during the school timings.
