Infinix, a Shenzhen-based smartphone company has finally announced the latest member of its lineup, Infinix Zero 8. The announcement of the smartphone by Infinix was made in Indonesia yesterday on 27 August 2020. The most exciting part of the announcement was that the Infinix Zero 8 is the first smartphone from Infinix to come with a 90Hz refresh rate. The quad-camera setup, on the other hand, seems to be quite out of the box though.
Features of the Infinix Zero 8 Smartphone
Now we’ll discuss some of the major features of the Infinix Zero 8 smartphone.
The camera setup of the smartphone as I said earlier is something that has never been seen before. The rear features a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with 4K video recording and EIS. Along with that, there’s an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP sensors for low light videos and depth data. In addition, on the front side of the phone, there’s a 48MP + 8MP camera setup that sits in the pill-shaped cutout for selfies.
Display and Design
Infinix Zero 8 features a dual-textured two-tone back with unique rhombus-shaped camera setup. It comes with a 6.85-inch IPS LCD with a pill-shaped cutout for selfie cameras. It has 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The fingerprint is mounted on the side and doubles as the power button.
Processor and Storage
The Zero 8 phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T processor along with a splendid 8GB of RAM. Also, it has a 128GB expandable onboard storage. The phone runs on Infinix X OS 7 based Android 10 OS. The other features Zero 8 comes with is an FM radio receiver, Face unlocking, USB-C charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Battery and Pricing
The smartphone comes with a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W SuperCharge. It’ll go on sale in Indonesia by 31st August, and globally on 1st September at a $258 price tag.
