After various videos and images being surfaced online, it seems that we’ll finally meet the LG Wing phone on September 14th. LG has finally teased a video of its dual-screen phone through its YouTube channel. The South-Korean tech-giant company has so far opted to release two-screen that operates by adding a second display using a case. While Samsung is about to release the second generation of its Galaxy Fold Series. And Microsoft is working on its dual-screen phone named Surface Duo.

The teaser video released yesterday, on September 1 shows that LG’s next device will extend the display with a screen rotating into view. Previously in May, there were rumors about a T-shaped device with the horizontal extension at the top.
Expected Specs of the LG Wing Phone
While a video leaked by Android Authority last week showed how the dual-screen phone could be used in a regular portrait orientation, with the second screen in a T-formation. To simplify, the video showed how the phone can work and rotate screens by 90 degrees. But now finally, we can see an official video teaser revealed by the company showing off its latest dual-screen Wing phone.
By looking at the teaser video, the working of the smartphone can’t be clearly examined. But LG has announced Rave, Ficto, Tubi, and Naver as partners in the project. Whereas, the hardware of the device is powered by Qualcomm chips. Talking about the size of the screens, LG Wing is expected to feature two screens. The main screen will be of a 6.8-inch size while the second screen will be a smaller 4-inch panel that will create the ‘T’ shape form factor.
The device is likely to come with the triple camera setup. The primary camera sensor of the phone is expected to be 64MP. The phone will also come with 5G connectivity. A new report has also claimed that the device will launch in the US this fall for around $1,000. Also, according to a report by XDA Developers, the LG Wing phone will be significantly cheaper than earlier reported.
