Yesterday’s evening remained a tremendous evening for gamers, as Nvidia officially revealed the 2nd Generation of new RTX 3000 Series Graphic Cards. It took the company 2 long years to launch these Graphics Cards. Before that RTX 2000 Series was leading the Nvidia’s Kingdom. According to reveals, the 3000 series is based on Ampere Architecture having the premium gaming features we have never seen before.
Company announces 3 models this time including RTX 3090, RTX 3080 & RTX 3070. The first model of the RTX 3000 series that will be hitting the stores is RTX 3080. It will be available to buy on September 17. 3090 will hit the stores by September 24th. Similarly, RTX 3070 will be released somewhere in October. RTX 3060 is not officially announced yet, but rumors are suggesting that it may also release in November.
Nvidia RTX 3000 Series Graphic Cards
We may call this beast the world’s first 8k gaming Graphic Card. Yup, Nvidia claims that RTX 3090 will be capable of handling the games at 8k resolution with solid 60 fps. It will feature Ray Tracing, 10,496 CUDA cores, a boost clock of 1.70GHz, and 24GB of GDDR6X memory. This GPU will be 50% faster in performance & 10% quieter in noise than the previous Titan RTX. As it includes a silencer too covering the space of 3 PCI Slots (Big Ferocious GPU). 3090 will require a quality 750W PSU taking 350 watts itself. The RTX 3090 will have a starting price of $1499 and will be available at nearby stores by September 24th.
The second one in the new Nvidia RTX 3000 series is RTX 3080 GPU. This buddy will be 1 time faster than the previous RTX 2080 and 2 times faster than RTX 2080ti. 3080 will also offer Ray Tracing, 8704 CUDA cores, a boost clock of 1.71Ghz, and 10GB of GDDR6X memory. If we talk about the thermal design of RTX 3080 GPU, Nvidia focused pretty much on it. It will feature a pennant-shaped board in combination with a new cooling shroud. This new structure will make sure the proper airflow up to 55% through its dual fans one on front and the other on rear side. The 3080 will be available by September 17 with a price tag of $699.
3070 is going to be a budget-friendly GPU but with no compromise in performance factors. This $499 GPU is capable enough to handle games with ultra settings on 2K resolution. Not only that, but it can also support some games on 4K resolution with decent graphics settings. It will have 5,888 CUDA cores, a boost clock of 1.73GHz, and 8GB of GDDR6X memory. Some of its relevant features are a bit better than the previous RTX 2080ti. While far better than the RTX 2070 almost up to 60% faster. So if it suits your gaming requirements (I think it will) you can consider RTX 3070 as a budget-friendly option. It will be available somewhere in the month of October.
