PUBG Mobile New Update 1.0 brings Graphics Improvement and New Erangel 2.0 Map

The much-anticipated version 1.0 of PUBG Mobile has finally released on September 8, 2020. The PUBG Mobile new update brings a lot of exciting changes that the players had been waiting for. It includes improved User experience, Graphics improvements, improved Livik map, a new Royale Pass Season, EvoGround Additions, and the most-awaited New Erangel 2.0 Map.

PUBG Mobile is also launching a new season named Beyond A.C.E. It’ll be available for players worldwide from September 14. Both Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation said in a statement that the servers will not be taken offline for this update.

New Features of PUBG Mobile Update

Let’s see what the PUBG Mobile offers its players with its latest upgrade. We’ll discuss each one of them below;

1. Graphic Quality Improvements

According to PUBG Mobile’s official blog post, the PUBG official update has brought a lot of graphic quality improvements in the video game. It has improved the skin textures and facial details for the player’s character models. The update also brings visual effects improvements, character item improvements, and has introduced more accurate models for weapon sights. Moreover, the latest PUBG Mobile update brings more improved shell ejection animations while firing, stronger firing feedback, and an excitingly new blast effect.

The graphics quality improvements in PUBG also offers a better display of gun-checking during standby. It brings an enhanced quality of lighting that gives vegetation, and the sky a more layered look.

2. New Erangel 2.0 Visual Map

The much-anticipated New Erangel 2.0 map has been finally launched in the latest update. The map comes with improved visuals for the sky, land, water, and vegetation. The improved visuals make the map more realistic and detailed. The update has also changed the structure of some buildings and has improved the terrain structure, adjusted the layout of buildings, added 7 new large warehouses, and also has added new landing points for better looting options.

The Erangel 2.0 PUBG Mobile update also brings new map elements. It has added trenches, wooden barricades, abandoned tanks, and constructions as covers to create a more enthralling battlefield atmosphere across the Erangel map.

3. EvoGround Additions

Payload 2.0 is coming to PUBG Mobile soon. It’ll be back with fully armed vehicles, including the new armed helicopter. The armed helicopter will give immense firepower for you and your squad. The latest update will also bring new heavy weaponry that includes AT4-A laser-guided missile and M202 four-barreled rocket launcher.

4. Livik Improvements

The PUBG Mobile update also brings some major improvements to the latest map in the game – Livik. The map has got improvements both in visuals and gameplay. The Livik map has now improved the accuracy of rock textures and also improved display of water textures, waterfalls, for smoother gaming. Furthermore, a new semi-automatic shotgun named M1914 has been added to the map. The ammo can be manually reloaded and players can load up to seven rounds. This feature is exclusive to Livik and Arena mode.

The update has improved effects during landing in the game and also has slightly increased the density of vegetation in the upper left area. Not only has the map improved, but also the PUBG Mobile update has fixed bugs with clipping floating objects, etc. and also it has fixed issues with Monster Truck and trees disappearing.

5. Royale Pass Season 15

Royale Pass Season 15 Beyond A.C.E.- Themed gameplay will be available on PUBG Mobile from September 14. Players will be able to play this game in Erangel once the event is live. This gameplay will have Energy Towers where players will redeem supplies when they meet certain combat conditions.

6. Other Improvements in PUBG Mobile Update

Some of the other improvements that have been added into the PUBG Mobile Game update 1.0 are Arena updates, Combat improvements, Classic Combat Animation improvements, Security Improvements, User Experience improvements, Cheer Park updates, and much more.

The PUBG Mobile official update will require approximately 1.8 GB of storage space for Android. While the update for iOS will take an additional storage space of 2.17 GB. Players on different versions of the game won’t be able to invite each other, so it’s better to update it as soon as possible.
